The Study of the Stars
Astrology is a potent divination tool that can reveal your fate, destiny, and everything in between over the course of a lifetime. The majority of the techniques I use for astrological divination come from the Hellenistic tradition, which means that when I look at a chart, I’m assessing the ability of the planets to bring forth opportunities for growth in specific areas of your life at certain times in accordance to your fate. By becoming conscious of your fate, you can make the choices that best align you to your destiny and move through life with ease, poise, gratitude, and awareness.
Our guiding light in life - our daimon - is with us along the way to keep us on that path as best as possible, and the daimon is the beating heart of the natal chart. My goal as your astrological guide is to help you see the beautiful and complex mandala of your life in a new light and better handle the inevitable ups and downs we all experience here on earth.

Hellenistic astrology is more focused on the events that take place in your life and how they build on each other over time. It is not as heavily focused on explaining who you are on a psychological level as modern or archetypal astrology. Therefore, placements in your chart aren’t all speaking to who you are as a person, your character, your mindset, your gifts, etc. Some placements may be speaking to your circumstances or the way you experience reality. Others may represent people in your life. Some may explain your living situation, or why you feel drawn to a certain career. In short, you are not your birth chart - your birth chart is more like a tapestry of themes and stories that play out in your life around you over time.
I use a variety of techniques to analyze a natal/birth chart.
I start with assessing the ascendant and the ruler of the ascendant to get an overall feel for the direction and purpose of the life.
I then look to the sun and moon - the luminaries - to get higher level information about the chart via sect (whether the chart occurred during the day or night).
I also look closely at the lot of spirit and the lot of fortune, their rulers, and their house placements to get a sense of what motivates you, what drives you forward toward your destiny. The lots speak to the cards you’ve been dealt in life and your main strategies for working with them.
Then, I do a topical analysis of certain areas of life such as relationships, career, purpose, spirituality, health, family, etc to illuminate what themes and patterns are explained by the chart.

After a thorough natal chart analysis, I look at multiple time lord techniques (planets that are activated and charged with bringing through events or opportunities in certain areas of your life) to observe the cycles of time working in your life. This is where specific or general predictions can come in. The main time lord techniques I use are circumambulations through the bounds, zodiacal releasing, annual profections from the ascendant and the sect light, quarters of the moon, and decennials.
For a solar return reading, I look in depth at recent past, current, and future time lords activated in the upcoming year. I also look in depth at the previous solar return on its own as well as on a biwheel with the birth chart. I do the same for the upcoming solar return year.
For further understanding of timing, I look at outer planet transits to important natal planets and the lots. I also look to see where eclipses are landing in your chart, especially if you have the sun or moon as a current or upcoming time lord.
I also look at secondary progressions, especially what’s happening with the moon or if a planet is changing signs/entering a new house.
-
If you are unsure about your birth time, I can use a variety of techniques to confirm your rising sign, narrow down the degree of your ascendant, and the most likely signs of your lot placements. I will need a detailed timeline of major events in your life and as much background as you can share about the circumstances surrounding your birth.

Horary is the branch of astrology that allows the astrologer to answer a specific question using the chart of the moment the astrologer understands the question. In many cases, horary is a better tool for answering questions that may not be suitable for a natal chart.
Tips for asking horary questions:
make sure that you actually want to know the answer, and that you’re prepared to know the answer
the question should be somewhat urgent, and you should have already attempted to find clarity in some way but you still feel unclear
the question can only be asked as a horary once, so if you’ve asked it as a horary before, i can give that chart a second look but looking at a new chart would obscure the answer
the more specific and focused the question, the clearer the answer
would knowing the answer improve your life/enable you to make better decisions?
specify a specific timeframe if it’s something you really want to happen someday. so for example, if you want to be in a relationship, instead of asking “will i ever be in a relationship?” ask “will i get into a relationship in the next six months?”
please don’t ask me about death, crime, or anything that will put me in an ethical dilemma. if i find myself in that situation, i will refund you and let you know why.
ask one question at a time. i can only use the chart for one question and related follow up questions if they are reasonably connected to the original topic.
Examples of good horary questions:
yes/no questions
where is my (lost item)?
will this person i’m dating commit to me?
will my ex get back in contact with me?
is this person i’m interested in also interested in me?
will i get pregnant this month?
should i go on this trip?
will i get the job, and if so, should i take it?

This is the branch of astrology that you can use to choose the most auspicious time to begin a new project or venture. I recommend this service for any big event or life change that you want to be as successful as possible. What I will need from you is a specific time frame to work within, your birth chart information, background information on the situation, and your intentions for the event/project/new venture. I will find the best chart and possible backups and discuss with you live to answer any questions you have about how to use the chart.

Synastry is the branch of astrology where you put the charts of two individuals next to each other to get a sense of how they connect, interact, and create together.
I start by looking at each birth chart separately to get a sense of what each person desires and struggles with in relationships.
I will look at each person’s time lords and look at zodiacal releasing in particular to see where each one is at when it comes to timing for relationships or other areas of life that may be taking precedence over a relationship at the time. Sometimes there is a major mismatch here which can explain why one person might be more invested than another for example.
Then I look at the two charts laid over each other in a biwheel, where I can see which planets and lots can see each other and how. Aversions tend to be very illuminating.
If you know the moment you met or came together as a couple or unit, that would be helpful but isn’t necessary.
I may also take a look at the composite chart but I don’t spend much time on this because it’s more like a theoretical birth chart of how your energies mix than something concrete.
-
I use the whole sign house system for all astrological consultations including natal, electional, horary, and synastry.
I use the traditional meanings of the houses and I do not associate house meanings with signs, to me they are completely separate concepts.
-
I use the tropical zodiac for all astrological consultations including natal, horary, electional, and synastry.
-
I use only the traditional geometric aspects/configurations.
I use whole sign aspects as well as closer contact within 3 degrees for certain conditions such as adherence, maltreatment, and bonification.
Conjunction/co-present in the same sign
Sextile
Square
Trine
Opposition
When planets are in signs that aren’t configured through one of these aspects, I consider them to be averse, which means they can’t see each other or they aren’t acknowledging each other.

I do not read the chart with planets Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus as having sign/house rulerships. I treat them as powerful points in the chart speaking to certain themes being deepened or amplified, especially if they are in angular houses or closely conjunct a planet or lot. I look to their transits for a sense of important timing as well.
